The Montauk Project: Mind Manipulation, Alien Beings and Time Travel

Montauk, N.Y. — like Area 51, written about in Annie Jacobsen’s book Area 51: An Uncensored History of America's Top Secret Military Basehas been the center of an otherworldly conspiracy theory for decades.

Believers say that people were kidnapped at a U.S. Air Force base and subjected to mind control and time travel experiments. And extraterrestrials somehow had a hand in it all.

It’s been dubbed “The Montauk Project,” and is the subject of an upcoming docu-drama, “Montauk Chronicles,” executive produced, directed and written by independent filmmaker Christopher Garetano.

But nobody has been able to actually prove these allegations. And all that’s left of the Montauk facility — currently a state park — are the above-ground remnants of the original Air Force base. According to a document issued by the Air Force Historical Studies office, the Montauk base, known as Camp Hero, was decommissioned in the early 1980s.

Montauk is a small seaside resort town on the tip of Long Island that draws vacationers to its shores every year. Camp Hero, located a short distance outside of Montauk, has roots as far back as the Revolutionary War, during which it was used to test military cannons. Later, during World War II, Camp Hero served as a coastal defense installation against any possible Nazi intrusions into America.

“Montauk Chronicles” follows the story of three men, Alfred Bielek, Stewart Swerdlow and Preston Nichols, who claim that Camp Hero ended up as an underground site for scientific atrocities.

Bielek, a retired electrical engineer, maintains he was part of the mysterious Philadelphia Experiment, where in 1943, the U.S. Navy allegedly tried to make a small destroyer undetectable to radar. The test ended in disastrous results, including the ship disappearing from the Philadelphia Navy yard and — purportedly — traveling through time.

The Philadelphia Experiment: Invisibility Time Travel and Mind Control - The Shocking Truth- Al Bielek

According to Bielek’s story, he was transported ahead in time from Philadelphia, and extraterrestrials were responsible for the technology used in the Philadelphia Experiment. He also maintains he was recruited in 1970 to work on mind control and time travel projects at the Montauk facility.

Swerdlow’s story involves being kidnapped as a teenager from his Long Island, N.Y., home, taken to the Montauk base, and subjected to a variety of experiments.

“Beatings, a lot of torture, electrical shock, burials, near-drownings,” Swerdlow said. “They’d bring you to the point of death, and then they would save you, and the person doing this would be your rescuer or god, and would say, ‘I’m the one that saved you and remember that.’ And that became your handler — your programmer.”

Swerdlow recalls being part of some horrific experiments while at the Montauk facility.

Montauk: The Alien Connection- Stewart Swerdlow

“The walls were very damp, oozing water, so it appeared to be deep underground or even underwater. I was always on this cold, hard table. Sometimes there’d be other people around, either my age or older, and electrodes were put into me and injections.”

All three men claim to have seen extraterrestrials while at the underground Camp Hero facility.

“Well, there were quite a number of aliens at Montauk,” said Bielek. “Some were there on a semi-permanent basis. A lot of them were just visitors that came in and looked at what they wanted to see and went back home.

“There were little grays there, which I suspected were degenerated humans from out of the future. Large gray aliens (which are a different species) were also at Montauk, and they were highly intelligent.”

Nichols, like Bielek, was an electrical engineer, who says he worked with Bielek in the mind control and psychic aspects of the Montauk Project.

The Montauk Project: Experiments in Time- Preston B. Nichols

“There were definitely alien beings at Montauk,” Nichols said. “We had the little grays and the larger grays as well as a variety of reptilian beings. The large grays didn’t want anything to do with me because they couldn’t reach me telepathically. When I entered a room they would leave.

“They were the strangest thing that I ever saw. At that point, I was beginning to doubt my own sanity.”

And Swerdlow also saw an alien presence at Montauk. “Most of the time my interaction was with human beings, but I did come into close contact with alien beings.

“I did see, occasionally, intelligent reptilian humanoid beings as well as gray aliens who were once human beings but were physically altered as a result of degeneration and radiation toxins in their system. Most of them communicated with mental telepathy.”

NOTE: Here is a link to a very good online source - The Montauk Project. Al Bielek's site can be found at Camp Hero - Fort Montauk. There has been conjecture and conspiracy theories pertaining to the location since the 1980's. I have seen some of the evidence and have read many of the claims...I do believe some covert experimentation existed though I have scant knowledge has to the extent. Below is some of the activity I have covered related to Montauk Project and the Brookhaven National Laboratory in reference to a UFO crash near Southaven Park in Shirley, Long Island...Lon

Statement to MUFON: In 1992 a UFO crashed into Southaven Park in Shirley, Long Island. Many witnessed the event as it is near Sunrise Highway, a well traveled roadway. The park was closed for three days. Brookhaven National Labs was called in. A large flatbed truck brought something large back to the lab. My brother, who worked on the lab at the time, told me that they had an alien, alive, on the lab property. He told me this shortly before he died in 2006. He told the same thing to my mother, and his family in real time, at the time of it happening. There are reports saying there there is film footage of the event. The spot of the crash is still obvious from aerial view. The trees are twisted and turned about. Some of them are bent and it is reported that there is no electro-magnetic field there.

In order to corroborate my sighting information I offer you this report from the paranormal investigative group, Long Island Oddities. I have also enclosed a picture of the twisted trees.
NOTE: I have posted additional images...Lon

Southaven Park - The Crash

The most coherent information on Southaven was located in the LIUFON Press Release on August 3 1998. The actual crash occurred at 7:00pm on Nov. 24th, 1992. A man was driving east on Sunrise Highway heading toward WIlliam Floyd Parkway. There was a patch of trees separating Sunrise from Montauk Hwy. To the south of Sunrise he saw a large craft that he describes as, "tubular in shape with two large bright blue lights on each end with a bright white light in its center whose structure was composed of a dull metallic grey texture". He saw the object make a very tight right angle, cross the highway, and crash into the woods of Southaven Park. When it hit, the object emitted a dazzlingly white beam that was said to turn night to day for a moment.

The same man turned and came back on the other side of Sunrise to backtrack and find the source of the crash. He saw helicopters near the exit to William Floyd Pkwy. Neither the helicopters or the personnel that came to block off the westbound exit to William Floyd bore any markings or insignia and the men were dressed in plain black. Finally he went west on Victory which was closed off later, and reached the second turn on Gerard Ave. This street and its neighbors would soon report all manner of electrical glitches, phone ringing with no one there, and TV static. At this time though our witness could see a huge fire back in the woods.

At the same time someone also driving east on Sunrise saw an oval shaped object fly over the town dump hill, "on a descending course 30 degrees to the horizon which was leaving a green ionization trail as it passed". Could this have been part of its crash trajectory? The oval craft or one like it may have been scouting out the local area because there was an incident "reported over Islip Town which were seen on the Channel 12 News in March 1992 at the Bagatelle Road Exit of the Long Island Expressway".

Some researchers say even now that there are areas of Southaven that have the trees bent as if almost torn out of the ground at some point in their growth. On a scouting mission we think we found such a site. We also found a good aerial shot of the area that shows a large roundish area that has no trees at all. The photos are below.

UFO CRASH AT SOUTHAVEN PARK, 1992

NEWSPAPER; SOUTH SHORE PRESS

ISSUE; Vol X, No. 7

DATE; Tuesday, May 25, 1993

A local investigative group that has been researching accounts of unidentified objects on Long Island for the past five years released a report (with photos and a video tape) yesterday that claims an alien space craft crashed into a remote area of Southaven Park in Shirley just before Thanksgiving last year. The incident happened just after 7:00 P.M. on the night of November 24, according to John Ford, chairman of the Long Island U.F.O. Network, who said that it has taken his group six months to do a thorough investigation.

It was just recently, though, that his group was able to acquire the video and the photos. "We knew that something crashed into the park that night and we have, bit by bit," said Ford, "been able to finally put the picture together." Several motorists who were traveling along Sunrise Highway that night, according to Ford, contacted his organization and described what they thought was a plane that was going down into the park. And many local residents whose homes border Southaven report that they heard loud rumbling sounds and saw strange lights.

"Eyewitness accounts have confirmed that a fire was reported immediately after," noted Ford. "In addition, the roads around the park were blocked off to travel by county and park police. The next day, and for a few days after, the park was closed to the public."

One local resident who lives near the park said that for a five to six day period after the incident, his house experienced numerous power surges and the phone would ring strangely without anyone on the other end.

"I ride horses in the park so I'm pretty familiar with the activities there," said the 45- year-old man who requested anonymity because of the sensitive nature of his job ("they would fire me if they thought I believed in flying saucers").

"For the next few days there were a lot of military helicopters going over the park --- and I couldn't get in."

Records show that Southaven Park was closed between November 25 and 28. According to park officials, the park was closed to the general public that week because it was reserved for duck hunting. Although some of the area fire departments were initially called, they were turned back and the fire was handled by the federally controlled Brookhaven National Laboratory Fire Department, said Ford. Ford's group finally gained admittance into the park a week later.

"We found an area that was burned out and some trees were bent over," Ford recalled. "A section looked like it had been plowed over by machinery." But two things were of particular interest to Ford. "We were getting a higher than normal radiation reading in the area, higher than regular background radiation, and the fence line in that area," said Ford, "had no magnetic reading."

Ford explained that metal fences maintain a magnetic charge from the Earth.

"Something had stripped away the magnetic charge of the fence."

Last week Ford received what he had been waiting and hoping for: a video film of the crash.

"I can't say where I got it from because these people who supplied the tape are afraid that the government will go after them.

" Because of the poor quality of the tape, Ford has been working with video specialists to try and enhance the quality of the picture and to produce stills. The video, a copy of which was given to South Shore Press, shows people examining a bright reddish, metallic-type object about four-square feet that appears to be emitting a white, cloudy gas, and a hissing sound can be heard --- a sight and sound that resembles dry ice that has been exposed to warmer temperatures.

The next shot shows what appears to be a person trying to lift up a body near a tree, but the poor quality of the film makes positive identification impossible. In a final scene, three uniformed men (wearing dark jackets and rounded caps similar to federal swat teams) are seen placing a large shiny spread (similar to mylar) over something on the ground. Ford makes no apologies for the poor quality of the video:

"Things are happening fast and the guy who took the shots doesn't want to be too obvious." And he confesses that it is hard to get people to come forward and admit what they've seen.

"One of the major problems in researching UFOs is that people are afraid of sounding like lunatics when describing strange, unexplained events."

But an even greater fear, notes Ford, is the government.

"You get involved with things that the government doesn't want people to know and they can make life pretty tough for you."

What are Ford's conclusions about the Southaven incident? "We are still very actively investigating this event. We believe that an extraterrestrial craft, with aliens, crashed that night in the park --- and we are out to prove it." - LIUFON

Skeptics UFO Newsletter -7- Jan. 1998
UFO Group Leader, Accused Of Plan To Kill Local Government Officials, Sent To Mental Institution After His Two Partners Plead Guilty.

John Ford, the 49-year-old founder of the Long Island (N.Y.) UFO Network (LIUFON), who in mid-1996 was charged with plotting to kill several local government officials because he believed they were covering up three crashed-saucer incidents on Long Island, has been found to be "delusional" and has been sent to a New York state psychiatric center. If/when Ford is judged competent to stand trial, he faces the prospect of a 25-75 year jail term. Two of Ford's partners in the plot to poison Suffolk county officials by inserting radium into their food and toothpaste earlier pleaded guilty to participating in the plan. Joseph Mazzuchelli was sentenced to 3-9 years. Edward Zabo, a Defense Dept. employee who obtained the radium, is slated to be sentenced in early March [SUN #40/July 1996]. The evidence included a tape recording of Ford and associates discussing their plan which was covertly recorded by a person who had been asked to participate but who instead gave the tape to law enforcement officials.

Ford claimed that in 1989, the U.S. had forced down and recovered an ET craft near Moriches Bay, L.I., that in 1992 an alien craft had crashed in Southaven Park, and that a third had crashed later near the Pine Barrens area. He publicly accused local government officials of collaborating with the federal government to cover up the incidents.

In an article in the November 1996 issue of the MUFON UFO Journal, Ms. Elaine Douglas charged that Ford was the "first UFO investigator to be seriously persecuted by the authorities." (Douglas is MUFON's state director for the District of Columbia and co-director of "Operation Right To Know." The latter, which periodically stages public demonstrations, describes itself as "the only UFO organization with guts." It has scheduled a march on the White House to "End UFO Secrecy" for July 5, 1999.) In her MUFON article, Douglas announced the formation of the John Ford Defense Committee and sought contributions. SUN eagerly awaits the reactions of Douglas and MUFON to recent events.

Some of Ford's own comments, contained in a 102-page handwritten "Statement to the Media," were quoted in a lengthy feature article recently published in the Jan. 11 issue of The Washington Post. Ford claims he had been a CIA agent for the last 30 years, but was not paid so there would be no record of his employment in the agency's files. Further, that Mazzuchelli was an officer of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency. Another Ford claim is that the AIDS and Ebola viruses were brought by ETs to kill off peoples of sub-Sahara Africa. In a letter to LIUFON vice president Steve Iavarone, Ford predicted that after a few months at the Mid-Hudson Psychiatric Center he would return and that all charges against him would be dropped. Ford concluded his letter with UFOlogy's popular slogan: "THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE...."

In June 1996 Ford was arrested on charges of conspiracy to murder local Republican officials John Powell, Fred Towle and Anthony Gazzola by doctoring their toothpaste and their cars with radium. Ford was right about his phone being tapped - the main evidence against him was a taped phone call to a police informant. People who have heard the recording say that Ford and the informant discuss the radium poisoning scheme and then laugh heartily as if it were a joke. Arrested with Ford was Joseph Mazzachelli, and the next day a third suspect, Edward Zabo, was arrested in Medford, New York. Zabo was an electrical inspector at military contractor Northrop Grumman. The three men were all members of the Long Island UFO Network. The group has accused the government of covering up sightings of extraterrestrials. Zabo, a former Defense Department employee, had provided the radium, and Ford was supposed to plant it.

The intended victims of the plot could not say why the three wanted to kill them. Mazzachelli was a convicted burglar, and Zabo had been arrested twice for driving while intoxicated and may have had some tax troubles. In the raid on Ford's home in Bellport, police seized dozens of weapons and thousands of rounds of ammunition. Friends said Ford was a gun collector. Police also found what they and the media described as "militia" literature. However, actual militia ties are dubious.

In 1997, a Suffolk County Court judge ordered that Ford be sent to an upstate New York mental hospital, where he remains today. Three psychiatrists and a psychologist, two hired by District Attorney James M. Catterson Jr.'s office, examined Ford and all four concluded that he was not competent to stand trial. Robert H. Berger, director of Forensic Psychiatry at Bellevue Hospital Center, said that while Ford seemed to understand his legal predicament, he thought the criminal case against him was in reality an intelligence operation being run by the CIA together with the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad.

Responding to an article about himself in Saucer Smear, Ford wrote:

My case is a frame-up and a smear tactic to destroy my UFO organization and to neutralize my effectiveness.

The main reason I'm sitting here is due to the fact that I had information indicating that the 1995 East End Forest Fires had been deliberately set to cover up the crash of a large disc near Suffolk Community College, south of Riverhead (Long Island). The County was asked to set fires near the crash site, to keep people out of the area; but dirty politics being the case, the Republican leadership, in an effort to gain control of Pine Barrens properties, set Forest Fires South of Sunrise Highway in populated areas near the coveted land. I was able to document some of this. While doing so, I was targeted for elimination by the politicians. I had several attempts on my life fail, due to the intervention of Israeli intelligence, which protected me for some 3 1/2 months.

Yes, it's true what I said. There is a heavy intelligence presence involved in my case. The man to talk to about it all is Preston Nichols. ... He can give you a briefing on the various aspects of the case ...

Preston Nichols, also a LIUFON member, is the same Preston Nichols of Montauk Project fame.

What happened here? Was Ford getting too close to something he shouldn't have, or had he been delusional for years? - lioddities.com / ufologie.net

NOTE: The official description of the Brookhaven National Laboratory was "a multidisciplinary, fundamental research laboratory. Research in the life sciences is conducted in the Departments of Applied Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Medicine, whose strong programs, characterized by many interdisciplinary collaborations in long-range basic, biological, and environmental problems assist the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) with its decision-making."

In July, 2000 the following was reported by an anonymous source: Brookhaven National Laboratory, located in vicinity of the Montauk Airforce Station, is known as a place of mysterious events connected to Project Phoenix and the preparation of the Philadelphia Experiment. Founded in World War II, it was the place of the first scientific accelerator and a radar laboratory. Nowadays, BNL is known for weather radar work and - in conjunction with the Phoenix Project - as a place of secret weapon developement, which allegedly caused the crash of both the TWA 800 flight and the crash of JFK, Jr.

Another unnamed source familiar with the activity at BNL stated that "Brookhaven National Laboratories had something to do with the crash of JFK, Jr's airplane. The night JFK, Jr. died, Brookhaven was conducting an experiment that scientists from around the world had begged them not to conduct. Other physicists were afraid that the experiment could cause perterbations in the universe that might even destroy the entire universe." - PX Archive...Lon

The Anguished Man

I received a correspondence from a reader in the United Kingdom that centers around an odd painting that is aptly titled "The Anguished Man" and is supposedly haunted:

Hi, I thought this might interest you...
My Grandmother had this painting in her attic for twenty five years. She said it was evil. She told us she used to see the dark figure of a man around the house and at night she heard strange noises and crying. She told me the artist committed suicide shortly after finishing it and that he had used his own blood mixed in with the oils. After she died we got the painting, it is currently in our basement. Shortly after we got the painting various members of the family started seeing the dark figure of a man. At night we began hearing noises and just recently we have heard crying and moaning. The painting is still in our house and although I never believed in the supernatural I am now convinced there is something evil about this painting. I am currently awaiting a full paranormal investigation being carried out.

The noises have been getting worse. We have heard crying coming from the corner of our bedroom. We started seeing the dark figure standing at the bottom of the bed, just apparently staring at us. It seems to be a middle aged man but his features are not very clear. As a former sceptic I'm very curious so I'm moving the painting into our bedroom, previously it's been in a cupboard downstrairs. I'm feeling apprehensive and a little scared....I'll keep updating.

Things seemed to have settled down so I moved the painting again, now it's started again with a vengeance. The noises are much worse, I'm finding it difficult to get any sleep. I have no explanation for what is happening but I'm convinced it is all related to the painting. I'm going to set up a camera to try and capture some of the activity.....I'll keep you updated.

I moved the painting back into the top bedroom. I set the video camera up and recorded for approx. eight hours over three consecutive nights. After spending several hours looking at the footage this is what I found. There were many other sounds recorded but they sounded like they came from outside, these were different. Shortly after moving the painting my wife felt someone stroke her hair in the bathroom and I saw a strange fog like mist at the top of the stairs that vanished as quickly as it came. The painting is now back in the cellar for the time being.

Reader Submission: The Claw

I was contacted by Jonathan F. who had previously submitted It Was A Fairy Good Evening and promised to forward anecdotes about other strange encounters he had experienced. After he read Unexplained Events, Jonathan F. forwarded the following email:

When we spoke last, I had told you that there were other events that happened in my life that I would eventually find time to send you. This fella beat me to the punch on one of them. So strangely enough, this event is almost exactly what happened to me a few years ago while in college myself. However, there are a few differences in experience I'd like to share with you now.

Back in about 2008, I had split up with my girlfriend and moved in with my Dad while going to college in Pittsburgh PA. He lived in Bethel Park, a very populated and relatively nice community. He had given me a spare bedroom on the second floor which had 3 windows in it. It wasn't very big, but it held my life's essentials while attending college. One night, around spring/summer in '08, I was laying in my bed, laying on my right side, thinking about life and just reflecting on stuff when I started to feel a strange tingle throughout my body (I didn't quite notice a droning sound as John T. described, being that I lived in an area where dumptrucks, 18 wheelers and many other large motor vehicles were only a few paces from my window on the ground below passing by day and night). I hadn't began to "drift" into sleep at this point and I took a quick and sharp notice to this feeling that I was getting. It made me feel "light", as if my bodies density was lessening and I was not as "armored" without that density, if you will. I didn't fight it because I always have been intrigued by the supernatural and paranormal (probably even to a dangerous level of curiosity at times). Instead, I focused ON it and tried to encourage it to see what was to come next. What happened next, I did not like. Suddenly, I felt something dark, something negative. The best way I can describe it is like this:

A giant invisible 3 fingered claw began to "scrape" my soul from my body, slowly extracting it one gradual pace at a time. It started at my feet and scraped its way up my legs and to my torso. When it hit my upper chest, it scraped outward from my body. Think of a garden claw scraping a hole in fresh topsoil - very similar to what I was feeling. Every time it made a pass up my body, I felt less and less in control of my body - I still had control of my mind, but fear began to consume it. My body felt as if it were paralyzed and numbed to much feeling, as a parasite would do when attaching to its host. Now, imagine with me if you can, that since this claw had no physical form, it still had an energy - a dark and negative energy. It instilled terror into my heart and I "saw" it in my mind, what it looked like - it's color, texture, the giant nails on each finger, every bumpy knuckle. But when I "saw" it in my mind, it wasn't like some vision you would imagine a prophet being given from a higher power like in movies or something. Instead, it was just like a thought you would have about what your truck looks like or your house or dog. It is a detailed image, but just an image in your mind when you're thinking about something. Ok, so now I'm laying on my right side, I feel this tingle, I kind of like it so I "welcome" it, all of a sudden, I feel the claw scraping through me and pulling MY energy, my soul, out of my body. The only thing I could do was pray, which I did and it was the Lord's Prayer, just as John T. did. As I prayed, the scraping continued but got very weak until finally it was gone. I felt my blood rush back into my body and I lifted my head from my pillow and looked around, not sure what the hell just happened to me.

In all 3 windows, I never noticed anything that seemed like it could be related to extraterrestrials - I didn't lose time, I was conscious the whole time, no strange lights or voices, etc. Instead, this was something completely spiritual...but it was evil. I'm no saint and I don't even know how to be. But I do know evil, and so does every single person in this world when their soul encounters it. I've always been a firm believer in a spirit, a soul and God. Whether its simply the power of believing in "something" that gives you control over the power within, or wether it is actually believing in God directly, you must still believe in good an evil. If there is one thing I know about existence, it is that it is all a balance - in every little tiny or hugely massive thing - from day to day life to quantum physics, the one rule is; there is a balance. Black and white, good and evil. I can't explain more than that of my event, other than I know it was evil - and with faith and the power of prayer, I was released from its grasp.

I drew a picture of what I saw in my mind and since it happened, the image in my head has not lost an ounce of detail. Maybe I saw it because I'm visually inclined, but this is what I believe was scraping through me, could it be seen through "our" perspective. - Jonathan F.

'Spirit Rescue International' Update - May 2012

'Spirit Rescue International' Update

May 2012

Members and friends...

Well things have been very busy for Spirit Rescue International and the team has been working flat out trying to clear the back log. New cases come into the mailbox every day, we also have a few ongoing cases which will take time to resolve. Sometimes we find that that when we give our clients advice, they are not complying. As a team, we will not work alongside any other mediums, with who the client has been in contact with in the past or present. As the SRI team we work alone. This enables us to do things our way and saves any conflicts now or in the future, as obviously the situation is stressful enough as it is. We find people contact us from the website, we send them the questionnaire form, to fill in and then we can get a good idea of what they are going through. There are a lot of things we can pick up on as a team, just by reading the responses on this form, before we decide to take on the case and start investigating. We as a team, support, from the start of the case been accepted, to after it is all over, and life returns to normal for the client. Sometimes, in some cases, some people can get attachments due to dabbling in things they do not fully understand. Other times, it could be a ‘sensitive’ person who does not even know that they a sensitive.

I first met Irene a few years ago. We met after my contacting SRI for help with a family member who was having problems in their home. We have been friends ever since and now I am part of the SRI Team. The house clearing was an eye opener, but successful as our clearings are. My story is on the web site page, obviously names changed. Irene is a lovely lady and really cares about what she does and SRI means the world to her, helping people means the world to her also. You know from the first time you talk to her, she is going to help you and your trust is instantly with her, she is funny but is also firm. I couldn’t imagine my life now without Irene in it.

It is odd but nearly every person you talk to nowadays will have a story to tell, regarding the paranormal. Around 12 years ago, I had a little job in a Fish and Chip shop. The son was around my age, his wife worked there also. It was his mum and stepfather who owned it. Anyway times where getting harder and the family decided to sell up and move on. I didn’t see them again after that. But after a while, I heard that the son had suddenly died of a heart attack. I felt sad at the time, but life goes on. Maybe 6 to 9 months after hearing of his death, I was walking back from the supermarket, and saw him walking at the other side of the road. I smiled at him, he gave me his cheeky smile back. I looked away, then looked back in his direction, he had gone. Then it dawned on me, he wasn’t around anymore . He must of just wanted to let me know he was okay.

A little bit about me. Well, I am 49, married with three grown up children, and two adorable grandsons. I have always been interested in the paranormal, but more so since meeting up with Irene. There is always more to learn and being part of the SRI team, believe me I’m learning. I wish I had more time to put into it, but it’s hard, having a job, running a home and looking after the family.

I have had a few jobs in my time, but mostly in Retail, as I love being around people, and meeting new people. If any of you work in shops you will know that no two days are ever the same. My youngest son (Elsquinto that's his user name) is on the team as well, he does research when needed. My eldest son is in the Police, and my daughter has a family. My husband Dave is a Bus Driver. Dave and Irene love winding each other up, so funny to listen to them when they get going. My Job with the team is to be there for people whose cases we take on, so they have a regular source of contact. We keep in contact with each other by Skype as the team come from all different countries around the world it is amazing and gives the team chance to keep updated on the cases we are involved in but also a way to talk direct with the client also.

I would also like to add, Irene hand picks who she feels right to be in her SRI team. I have some wonderful friends now, thanks to being part of this team. Although I probably will never ever meet them face to face, there is a strong bond there. We all want the same thing. To help people.

Feel free to join our forums, it would be lovely to see new members on there. I will not get to meet you face to face, but that could be the next best thing, chatting on the forum.

Take care,
PoD

Dark Force - The Terrifying and Tragic Story of the Bean Family

In his latest book called Delivered, the rest of the story is told.

"Delivered tells the rest of the story. I have had many different supernatural experiences in my adult life. I rejoice in the fact that I'm free from the evil that destroyed my family and tried to destroy me. GOD delivered me from all of it, and I can never thank HIM enough. After you read my books, I pray that you will draw closer to YHWH."

The Thornton Heath Poltergeist Ordeal

The Thornton Heath poltergeist case is not to be confused with the 1938 case of the same name, which was investigated by Dr Nandor Fodor.

This later case started one night in late August 1972 in the south London district of Thornton Heath, Croydon. A family first experienced the poltergeist activity when they were woken in the middle of the night by a blaring bedside radio that had somehow turned itself on...tuned to a foreign-language station. This was the beginning of a string of events that lasted nearly four years.

A particular lampshade repeatedly fell to the floor by some unseen force. During the Christmas season of 1972, an ornament was hurled across the room, smashing into the husband's forehead. "As he flopped into an armchair, the Christmas tree began to shake violently. Come the New Year and there were footsteps in the bedroom when there was no one there, and one night the couple's son awoke to find a man in old fashioned dress staring threateningly at him. The family's fear grew when, as they entertained friends one night, there was a loud knocking at the front door, the living room door was then flung open and all the house's lights came on."

They contacted the local Church who in turn sent a priest to bless their home. Sadly this did little good as the phenomena continued unabated. "Objects flew through the air, loud noises were heard and the family would sometimes hear a noise which suggested some large piece of furniture...had crashed to floor. When they went to investigate, nothing would be disturbed."

A medium who was consulted told the family that the house was haunted by a farmer of the name Chatterton, who considered the family trespassers on his property. An investigation bore out the fact that had indeed lived in the house in the mid-18th century. "Chatterton's wife now joined in in causing mayhem, and often the tenant's wife would be followed up the stairs at night by an elderly gray-haired woman wearing a pinafore and with her hair tied back in a bun. If looked at, she would disappear back into the shadows. The family even reported seeing the farmer appear on their television screens, wearing a black jacket with wide, pointed lapels, high-necked shirt and black cravat."

After the family moved out of the house, the poltergeist activity ceased, and none have been reported by subsequent residents.

Croydon's Ghostly Past Diminishes

Whether or not the overall strange past had anything to do with this particular poltergeist, the Croydon area is known for it's macabre history.

Croydon is an ancient town and people have settled here since the 6th century. As such, the borough has a past rich in spooks.

Frances Stewart, who researched Croydon’s ghostly past in the late 1980s, wrote in her book Around Haunted Croydon: “So many of Croydon’s original buildings have been demolished that it is hardly surprising to find the centre becoming devoid of ghosts.

“An office block that scrapes the sky or an exhaust-filled multi-storey car park are not fitting habitats for self-respecting spirits.”

Twenty years later the town centre is almost unrecognisable from what it once was and Croydon’s spirits have been forced to haunt the borough’s more rural outskirts.

One of the centre’s lost ghosts was a distressed woman who used to appear at the top of a staircase in the Old Palace, originally the manor house of the Archbishop of Canterbury and now an exclusive girls’ school.

The ghost appeared crying and wringing her hands in despair.

It has been suggested she was one of Elizabeth I’s maids-in-waiting who committed suicide in the house when she had a baby out of wedlock.

According to Mrs Stewart, there have been many exorcisms in the building in the past.

More recent additions to the borough’s ghostly population were the spooks that haunted the site of the Croydon Airport. Open from 1915 to 1959, this early icon to aviation was the site of many accidents and was also heavily bombed during the war.

The first spirit sighted there was a Dutch pilot in the 1930s.

His aircraft crashed in a fog that descended upon him suddenly, after he took off in favourable weather.

About a fortnight later, a pilot who was plotting his course when a voice behind him said: “You can’t take off, the weather is just the same as when I did.”

The pilot spun around to see a figure of the dead pilot standing behind him. Despite the clear day, he was in too much of a shock to take off and just a few hours later, a thick fog descended on the airfield as predicted.

The number of people killed during the war meant many ghosts were sighted in the borough in the 1940s and 50s. One sighting was in Thornton Heath.

A Scottish lady moved into a maisonette built on one of the old bomb sites in Princess Road. One evening she saw two strange children sitting at the top of the stairs in her house. They vanished and when the puzzled woman asked her own children if they had any friends over, they said that they had not.

The sightings continued and the woman soon discovered a brother and a sister had been killed when a bomb had fallen on their house in that exact same spot.

A haunting can take many forms and usually occur in places where there has been a violent or unusual death.

Whether violent, benign and helpful or merely sad, it would appear that Croydon’s ghosts are vanishing along with much of Croydon’s past. - croydonguardian.co.uk

Angels in the Classroom

Some places and dates are branded by disaster, by the stories of one horrible day that no one can forget: 9/11, Oklahoma City, Columbine. What sets this horrible day apart from others is about what didn't happened. The small town of Cokeville, Wyoming was the sight of a parent's worst nightmare on May 16th, 1986 when a mentally disturbed man and his wife entered an elementary school with guns and a homemade gasoline bomb.

The man's name was David Young, a former town marshal. He had been the tiny's towns only police officer in six months during 1979 and when he was fired for misconduct, he moved to Tucson, Arizona. He and his wife returned to Cokeville in 1986 and carried out their insidious plan. Young had a manifesto called "Zero-Infiniti" and proclaimed "this is a revolution!" as he and his wife took an entire generation - over 160 children and teachers - hostage and wouldn't release them until he was given 300 million dollars and a personal phone call from Ronald Reagan, the President of the United States.

Keeping all the children in a single room and standing in the middle of it, the Youngs began a standoff that would last 2 1/2 hours. David left the room leaving his wife alone and it was then that the bomb went off instantly killing Doris. The bomb had been on the shopping cart and, though it was homemade, it was powerful enough to destroy a section of the school. Moments before the explosion, Young handed the shoelace and clothespin to his wife and went across the hall to the bathroom. Doris Young apparently didn’t realize how sensitive the trigger mechanism was and accidently caused it to go off.

The blast knocked Williams off her feet. The room erupted in chaos as children ran screaming in the dark, smoke-filled room. While many kids, including her friends Amber Kemp and BranDee Prows, escaped through the window, Williams crawled toward a light at the doorway. She crossed paths with David Young at the door, and he tried to grab her shirt, but the tide of running children prevented him. She escaped but saw flames on her shirt and felt an odd, tickling sensation on her shoulder. She started rolling to try to put it out, but the burning sensation only intensified. She was saved from further burns when some teachers found her and slapped out the flames. Then they told her to run.

Running toward the blast Young started to randomly spray the area with gunfire. Some kids were grazed by whizzing bullets, but none were hit. Through the chaos, everyone was eventually accounted for except for the Youngs. Upon finding his burning wife, Young had shot her and then returned to the bathroom and shot himself.

The miraculous thing is that despite the shooting and the detonation of the bomb, the Youngs were the only casualties. Some children and teachers suffered severe flash burns from the explosion and minor bullet wounds, but all were alive. In the last 20 years, this event has become known as The Miracle of Cokesville.

The story runs deeper. Bomb experts called out to the scene were stunned. They couldn't figure out why the school was still intact when a bomb that size should have obliterated the entire side of the building leaving everyone - the hostage-takers and the hostages - all dead. How was this possible? To this day no one has provided an explanation. The children and teachers were alive and that was all that apparently mattered.

Then the children began to tell stories of angels who appeared to them and instructed them to move to a corner of the classroom because the bomb was about to explode. Some reported seeing beautiful figures in white while others said that they saw long-dead relatives telling them not to be afraid. Many said later that there was an angel in the room for every child and that each was protecting their charge. Some children said that they didn't see anything, but rather heard disembodied voices telling them that the disaster was about to happen and that they would be spared.

Glenna Walker’s children saw a “beautiful lady” who told them to go near the window right before the explosion. When looking at a picture in a locket later, one of the children identified the lady as Walker’s deceased mother.

Amy Bagaso Williams was a fifth-grader at the time of the incident. Recently she said, “You come to realize there are no coincidences. Too many things happened to the point that all of us survived that day. It was not an accident. It was a loving Heavenly Father who had a plan for all these children. He prevented it from turning into a horrible tragedy.”

Williams had third-degree burns on her face, neck and back. Because there were more than 75 injured, ambulances were dispatched to Montpelier, Idaho; Kemmerer, Wyo.; Evanston, Wyo.; and to Utah. Her parents drove her to Montpelier, where the hospital had not received word of the bombing. “Get prepared for a long night,” Williams' father told them.

Williams was lying in a hospital bed when she learned two Melchizedek priesthood holders were going room to room giving blessings. She asked for a blessing.

“The blessing said Heavenly Father was there and watched over us, that he loves us, and although this terrible thing happened and my body was burned horribly, that I would heal and have no scars,” Williams said with emotion. “The scars I would have to overcome would be scars of forgiveness and trust.”

Her pediatrician, didn’t think such a promise was realistic, but Williams, feeling the same peaceful feeling she had felt earlier, believed the blessing. New skin grew in, and to this day she has no scarring, despite severe burns.

“It was a miracle. I healed completely. Nobody has any idea I was in the Cokeville bombing,” she said.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary in 2006, a group called the Cokeville Miracle Foundation compiled a 500-page book of accounts by many people who lived through the fateful day and titled it WITNESS TO MIRACLES, Remembering the Cokeville Elementary School BombingSusan Fiscus, Karla Toomer and Chemene Petersen gathered information for the book. Survivors and residents of Cokeville were invited to a town celebration, and some talked about the event for the first time in two decades.

Roswell Incident: Spirit Rescue International RV Project Scheduled

During the past 2 1/2 years, and since my involvement with Spirit Rescue International, I have wondered if a series of remote viewing sessions could offer relevant information on the supposed 1947 Roswell, NM UFO Crash Incident. I have researched this subject and most of what I have found were minor references to the Stargate Project (possible government RV training target?) but nothing substantial. It is most likely a few remote viewers have attempted to perceive the location and circumstances, but details are scarce.

The term remote viewing emerged as shorthand to describe a more structured approach to clairvoyance. It was said that Stargate only received a mission after all other intelligence attempts, methods, or approaches had already been exhausted. This may be a true statement officially, though I doubt that was the full extent of use.

The remote view protocol that we use at Spirit Rescue International is defined as 'scientific' and/or 'coordinate' remote viewing. In order to apply it to the Roswell Incident there would need to be more monitor control, protocol modification, use of the correct data type and extended sessions. The sessions would be conducted by remote viewers who have minimal knowledge of the Roswell Incident. We believe these objectives can be achieved.

The project has now been scheduled and will begin shortly. Several targets will need to be set and each target will need to be perceived by a minimum of two remote viewers. For those readers who are familiar with how SRI conducts our investigations it will become apparent that the project will require a significant amount of time to complete. The information collected will be examined by researchers intimately familiar with the Roswell Incident. All of the data will then be compiled and condensed into a final report which will then be released at the discretion of Spirit Rescue International.

Spirit Rescue International will continue to accept and investigate client cases during the duration of this project. If you have questions or suggestions about the project or SRI please forward to my email...Lon

The Hinsdale House

buffalonews.com - Florence and Joseph Misnik live in a haunted house, but they will tell you that the gawkers are more frightening than the ghosts.

The two-story structure, thought to have been built prior to the Civil War, is perhaps Western New York's most infamous haunted house.

It was the site 35 years ago of a highly unusual exorcism by a priest from St. Bonaventure University and has been the subject of a book, a Discovery Channel docudrama, and endless fascination by paranormal enthusiasts.

A film crew from Chicago was at the house this past weekend, re-creating the exorcism and shooting other scenes for a new production that will be shown on the Internet.

The Misniks have never been afraid of the prospect of ghosts in their presence.

"We made an agreement with them: You leave us alone, and we'll leave you alone," Joe said.

Early on, Flo laid down the ground rules.

"I went into the middle of the kitchen, and I said, "You can stay here if you want to, but I'm not leaving.'‚"

With the house in desperate need of repairs and the Misniks both in their 80s, some paranormal enthusiasts are now trying to figure out how they might obtain the McMahon Road property and someday create a research center there.

"There is no paranormal research center in the world that is built on an active site," said Michael Rambacher, a friend of the Misniks' who bills himself as a medium and paranormal investigator. "We'd be able to do the science, we'd be able to do the geology, we'd be able to do the archaeology."

In the meantime, the house is simply home to the Misniks.

Flo and Joe, as they call themselves, have lived here since 1986.

They say they have experienced spirits or supernatural phenomenon, the kinds of unexplained events that forced previous residents to leave. But those encounters never scared them. What bothers them are the unexpected visitors who drive up the gravel road at all hours of the day and night for a glimpse of the home.

"Neither one of us feels threatened," Joe said of the ghosts. "Some of the weirdos who come around here threaten me more than the ghosts."

"It's mostly human beings that's the problem," added his wife of 28 years, a retired bus driver. "We call 'em rubberneckers."

Flo and Joe had no inkling about the home's colorful history when they moved from Hinman Avenue in Buffalo to the clapboard bouse set in the lush hills of this small town outside Olean. They fell in love with the house and its eight acres of forested property, which includes a pond full of squawking geese.

"It's peaceful, serene, quiet," said Flo.

There was no evidence of any haunting on a recent afternoon when a Buffalo News reporter visited with the Misniks.

Hummingbirds danced at a pair of feeders under a portico, bees swarmed a hive tucked in a second-floor cornice, and a barn cat snoozed on an outdoor swing.

Inside, the walls of the living room are filled with framed photographs of children and grandchildren.

Joseph Nickell, who has investigated hundreds of alleged haunted houses all over the world, doubts that Misniks' home is any different from the others: None of them has exhibited true evidence of being haunted.

"I like to say I've been in more haunted places than Casper," said Nickell, who investigates claims of the paranormal and supernatural for Skeptical Inquirer magazine, which is based in Amherst. "There's no scientific evidence whatsoever that ghosts exist. It is all just superstition.

"When brain function ceases, it stops surely. It doesn't go to a mystical realm."

Nonetheless, soon after they settled into the house, Joe Misnik went to register at the local American Legion Post, and upon giving his new address was informed that he lived in a haunted house.

The house first became notorious in the 1970s, when Clara and Phil Dandy and their four children lived there.

The Dandys allegedly experienced several bizarre episodes — mysterious burns on their bodies, bricks from a crawl space chimney dismantled and placed in the middle of the room, strange chants heard in the nearby woods, and sightings of "energy orbs" — that led them to call upon the Rev. Alphonsus Trabold to try to "de-haunt" the house.

The Dandys ultimately left in 1975, and the mother, who is now Clara Miller, wrote a book "Echoes of a Haunting," explaining her experiences in the house.

Families that resided there after the Dandys didn't stay long, either, said Rambacher, who lives in Olean.

That is, until Flo and Joe. The couple say they don't have the wherewithal to fix up the house, which needs a new roof, windows and siding. But they have no interest in leaving, either.

"When we came here, we said the next place we go is in the coffin," said Joe.

Flo maintains that she has seen at least one ghost in the house: a man in blue jeans and a plaid shirt with a rifle standing at the end of her bed.

She asked the man what he was doing there, and he responded that he didn't know, she said. When she turned around and looked back, she added, he was gone.

On numerous occasions, the Misniks said they have heard a "phantom" car in the driveway. They said they heard the sound of a car motor but looked and saw nothing. Sometimes, the smell of cigar smoke wafted through the house, even though neither of them smokes.

The encounters are few and far between compared with what the Dandys experienced — in large part because the Misniks are elderly, and thus emit less energy to disturb the spirits, Rambacher said.

Rambacher, who conducts ghost tours of the property with the Misniks' permission, is hoping to raise money to pay off their mortgage.

"We won't live long enough to pay it off," Joe said, estimating that they have seven more years of payments on their land contract.

If the mortgage gets paid, the Misniks could then donate the house and land for paranormal research, with assurances that they wouldn't be removed from the property.

Rambacher has reached out to the Alex Tanous Foundation in Portland, Maine, and to Timothy Barth, a graduate of St. Bonaventure who teaches a course on parapsychology at Texas Christian University similar to the one taught by Trabold at St. Bonaventure.

Tanous, a psychic, visited the house with Trabold in 1974. Both men are now deceased.

Barth and a representative from the Tanous Foundation said they were supportive of Rambacher's efforts but weren't sure how much financial backing they could provide.

"If stuff is really ongoing up there, it could be a real opportunity for someone," said Barth, a professor of psychology at TCU. "These things don't happen on a schedule. In order to document them, you need something set up 24/7 for an extended period of time."

Despite all the rubbernecking, the Misniks insist there's no place they would rather be. And they would love to be able to fix the place up a bit … so it stays around long after they're gone.

"There's a lot of history in this house," said Flo. "It would be a shame for it to just disappear."
